BPOMS Data Services resides in the Blue Hill Plaza complex, a 1.2 million square foot facility specifically constructed to house high-availability data centers, providing maximum reliability, redundancy and connectivity.

Located approximately 25 miles north of New York City in Pearl River, NY, the Blue Hill Plaza complex offers state-of-the-art physical components and redundant network offerings.

The Blue Hill Plaza complex is located directly on top of dual power feeds from the local utility’s primary transmission network. Each feed brings in power at 69KV and automatically transfers between feeds within six tenths of a second of any power interruption.

The BPOMS data center is connected to high-speed fiber rings that support a full range of wide area networking protocols. The BPOMS network features a completely redundant architecture with diverse fiber paths. We have dual communications access from two distinct locations into the Blue Hill Plaza complex where the BPOMS data center is located. Connectivity is served by multiple ISP carriers, including Optimum Lightpath, DataNet and Verizon.

Lightpath runs fiber directly into the BPOMS computer room providing virtually unlimited bandwidth capabilities. Lightpath’s network provides direct connectivity from BPOMS' 30,000 square foot, fully secure, remote data center to our clients’ locations on the network throughout the New York Tri-State area. The network provides reliable, high-speed (10 Mbps up to 10 Gbps) connectivity delivered via fiber optics that run directly to our clients’ business locations.

BPOMS has built-in redundancy for added operational reliability, including redundant backup power with UPS and expandable standby diesel generation; environmental controls, including n+1 temperature and humidity systems and pre-action fire protection systems; secure card key access and advanced VPN IP security; and unlimited bandwidth capabilities.
