Micrographics equipment such as readers, reader-printers and cameras have been around for years. Through the years, technology has changed, however, the basic concept has not. Micrographics is still used today to help companies manage their records. BPOMS carries a wide range of readers from top of  the line manufacturers; Indus and S-T Imaging.

Using the concept of image reduction provided through camera and film technology, companies are able to reduce the storage capacity of their records to a mere fraction of that required for paper. Millions of records that would normally fill an entire warehouse can now be stored in microform in a space equal to the size of a filing cabinet. Since your microform records can now be stored on-site, retrieving records is very easy. Using a reader or a reader-printer, the user can view and/or print the image of the document back to its original form.
