Scanning Services:

We convert documents into TIFF, PDF or virtually any file format. Available on our premises or yours, our services include document preparation, scanning and indexing, and automated data capture (OCR/ICR) converting your image to text.

Business Document Scanning involves taking your paper originals, preparing them for scanning and converting them to your required format. We can return your documents as a simple repository of images, indexed multi-page TIFF or PDF documents, or provide for retrieval via a document management system.

Engineering Document Scanning provides a raster image file of an architectural or engineering drawing in many formats including black and white or grayscale and from a variety of original documents including mylar, vellum, aerial photos and others. The original source document can be up to 36" in width and of almost any continuous length. A raster file is an image file that cannot be changed but enhancements including de-speckling, de-skewing, cropping, rotating and mirroring can be performed at scan time. Variations in contrast can be accommodated for originals of less than perfect quality to improve the quality of the scanned image.

Aperture Card Scanning provides a cost effective solution to convert the archived drawings to a format that can be shared across your organization. At the time of scanning, the Hollerith code (including the reduction ratio), can be captured and used for automated indexing of your drawing database.
For large-scale conversions, it can be cost effective to convert the original drawings to aperture cards and then to scan the cards into a digital format. At the same time, you can have created an archive copy of these important drawings as well as the electronic version for shared access.

Microfilm Scanning is a service to retrieve those important archived documents and allow more immediate shared access. Whether in roll, fiche, or jackets, these documents can be converted to the format you require and accessed via an image retrieval or document management system. All formats are available and the optimum image can be obtained using automated and manual correction processes.
